Engineered Fuel processing commissioned at VLS Armor

VLS has continued its rapid expansion in Sustainable concepts by commissioning an Engineered Fuel processing station at its Mt Pleasant, Tennesse, location.

The facility is designed to take Non-Hazardous Secondary Materials and manufacture an Engineered Fuel to be used as a coal-substitute for cement kilns. Material is dry, non-chlorinated secondary materials, typically from automotive manufacturing.

Engineered Fuel plays a key role in Sustainability by pushing waste out of the Solid Waste regulations by using it as a raw material. This lets manufactures generate less waste and further move towards Zero Waste status.
